Editorial Guides

The Science Signaling editors or members of the Editorial Board contribute these short articles. Most of these highlight articles and resources at the Science Signaling that are focussed on a particular topic. Some focus on new features or functionality of the Knowledge Environment. Many Editorial Guides highlight a collection of new papers and resources that are being published in a Focus Issue at the Science Signaling, as well as feature some of the related material that can be found on the topic in the Science Signaling Archives. Frequently, the Science Signaling Focus Issues represent a set of complementary articles and resources that are on the same topic as a Special Issue in Science magazine. Editorial Guides that describe Science Signaling complementary articles related to Science Special Issues are freely available with registration. We hope you find them a useful tool for exploring the breadth of the information available at the Science Signaling and for understanding how Science Signaling resources can complement papers published in Science.

Each year, the Science Signaling editors also write an Editorial Guide to highlight the year's most important cell signaling research. The editors may select articles and topics for inclusion in this annual feature. In addition, members of the Editorial Board and distinguished scientists from many life sciences disciplines are asked to nominate the top research articles of the year. Access to the full text of the annual "Breakthroughs of the Year" Editorial Guide requires an individual subscription or access through a institutional site license.

Use the Advanced Search limited to the Editorial Guides section, to find these articles. Alternatively, the Editorial Guides and the Editorial Guides Archive can be accessed from the Literature section of the site.
