My Folders

Science Signaling My Folders are designed to help you organize resources throughout the Science Signaling according to your personal preferences. The following types of resources can be stored in folders.

  • Editors' Choice summaries
  • Editorial Guides
  • Reviews
  • Perspectives
  • Protocols
  • Letters
  • Virtual Journal articles
  • Forums and forums messages
  • People in the Directory
  • Teaching Resources
  • ST NetWatch entries
  • Events entries
  • Database of Cell Signaling Connections Maps components, pathways, and relations

Folders are created and accessed from the "My Science Signaling" section of Science Signaling or from the "My Folders" link in the left navigation area. From My Science Signaling, click on the link to "My Folders". To create a folder, enter the name of the folder in the provided box and click the "Create Folder" button at the bottom of the My Folders page. To view items in an existing folder, click on the name of the folder. To delete a folder, click on the "Delete" link next to the name of the folder you would like to delete.

To put an item in a folder, find a resource on Science Signaling. If that resource can be put in a folder, the "Save to My Folders" option will appear in the left-side navigation area or a "Save to My Folders" button will be appear adjacent to the resource. Items in search results or on index pages may also be placed in folders by checking the box next to the item and selecting the "Save to My Folders" button. All resources are intially placed in the "Main Archive" and from there can be moved to personalized folders.
