My Saved Searches

My Saved Searches allows users to save search parameters to re-execute searches without having to re-enter the search criteria into the Advanced Search page. To save a search, perform a search using the Quick Search box in the upper left of any Science Signaling page or perform a search from the Advanced Search page. Then, click the "Save this search" link from the left tool bar. This will take you to a page where you can name the search and see the criteria being saved. Once saved searches have been created, the searches can be re-executed from the "My Saved Searches" page accessible from the left navigation area on any page in Science Signaling. The My Saved Searches page allows you to delete a saved search, execute a saved search, or view the saved search's criteria.

Search criteria that can be used to create a saved search include:

  • Author's name
  • Word(s) in the title or abstract
  • Word(s) anywhere in the content
  • Date

Saved searches cannot be limited by section or area of the Science Signaling site. For example, if a search is executed limited to the Reviews and Connections Maps, the saved search will automatically be expanded to include all areas of the Science Signaling site.
