Summary: This week’s issues of Science and Science’s STKE focus on issues related to the development of therapeutics, including new methods for identifying drug targets and the goal of personalized medicine based on an individual's genetics. STKE specifically looks at the roles the RNAi can play in the drug target identification process, how understanding the genetics behind disease can lead to new options for therapeutic intervention, and how analysis of the signaling network may provide insight for personalized medicine.
