Hedgehog Signaling Pathway

Abstract: The Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway is essential for development and tissue homeostasis in metazoans. Probably as a result of its potent influence on cell-fate outcomes, the Hh pathway when corrupted results in malformations and diseases such as cancer. Many of the pathway components that contribute to Hh-mediated signal transduction are presented.
