An Interactive Three-Dimensional View of 14-3-3ζ.
The image to
the right is a CHIME version of 14-3-3ζ (PDB Accession Number 1A37) that can be manipulated and
viewed from different perspectives. The legend denotes relative conservation levels in the protein, with teal
representing the least-conserved residues and burgundy representing the most highly-conserved residues.
Waters have been removed from the image. Click on the image to manipulate your view of 14-3-3ζ.
In Windows, you can hold down and drag the left mouse button to rotate the molecule. Hold down and drag the left mouse button with the "Shift" key depressed to increase or decrease 14-3-3ζ size. Right-clicking
anywhere on the CHIME image, or using either mouse button to click on the "MDL" in the lower right
corner will generate a pop-up menu that will allow you to rotate the image, or to change the mode in which
it is displayed. With a Macintosh, click to rotate and click and hold to see the CHIME menu. To recover the initial view of 14-3-3ζ, click "Refresh" in Internet Explorer or "Reload" in Netscape.
A Static View of 14-3-
The image to the right is a static version of 14-3-3ζ. The legend denotes
relative conservation levels in the protein, with teal representing the least-conserved residues and burgundy
representing the most highly-conserved residues.
