An Example of Gs Signaling.

This schematic was prepared by R. Iyengar's laboratory and shows some of the signaling events associated with activation of the b-adrenergic receptor (b-AR), a Gas-coupled receptor. The (b-AR) can regulated gene expression through activation of the transcription factor CREB and can regulate glucose metabolism.
