Description Slides are provided for a class covering apoptosis and are part of the course "Cell Signaling Systems: A Course for Graduate Students." The slides can be used to discuss the apoptosis genes in C. elegans, the properties of the caspases, the major components of the extrinsic apoptotic signal transduction pathway, and the major components of the intrinsic (mitochondrial) apoptotic pathway.
