Response to antibodies to phospho MAPK

I have been using anti-phospho ERK1/2 antibodies for 2 years now. At first I used to get multiple bands as well but I have been able to get rid of them, leaving only the specific ERK1/2 bands. If the antibodies you are using are from Cell Signaling Technology (new England Biolabs spin-off company), then you may be able to improve your western blots by changing the conditions.
