Database of Cell Signaling: How to Contribute

The information in the Database of Cell Signaling is contributed by scientists using a custom, proprietary data entry software called CMADES (Connections Maps Data Entry Software). Most corresponding authorities are scientists that are invited by the Science Signaling editors to contribute to the database. Many of the contributing authorities are current or former members of the corresponding authorities' laboratories. Because of the structure of the database into canonical and specific information, the canonical pathways and components must be entered into the database before any specific pathways and components can be entered. The Science Signaling editors oversee the addition of information to the database to ensure that canonical information is provided first, to minimize the appearance of duplicate components, and to manage external peer-review of the information.

If you wish to join these cell signaling researchers and contribute to the Database of Cell Signaling, please contact the Science Signaling Editors.
