Feedback Loops

Feedback loops are important mechanisms by which cells and organisms can regulate signal strength, duration, and location. Freeman describes how positive and negative feedback loops control a variety of developmental processes. The review deals specifically with examples for which there is experimental evidence as opposed to the theoretical modeling literature.
