Online Cover This week features a Research Article that describes a nontranscriptional role for YAP in the separation of daughter cells during mitosis, a process called cytokinesis (see also the accompanying Focus). The image shows that EGFP-tagged YAP (green) localizes to the midbody in HeLa cells undergoing cytokinesis. The cells were also stained for tubulin (red) and DNA (blue).
