Slides are provided for a class covering two aspects G protein-mediated signaling and are part of the course �Cell Signaling Systems: A Course for Graduate Students.� The two topics are regulation of receptor-G protein coupling and G protein effectors. The regulators that control the duration of cell signaling include RGS proteins and the kinases of the GRK family. The effectors include phospholipase C and adenylyl cyclase.
