Description

Slides are provided for a class covering the mechanism and regulation of eukaryotic gene transcription machinery and are part of the course �Cell Signaling Systems: A Course for Graduate Students.� The slides begin with an overview of eukaryotic gene transcription and then proceed to describe mechanisms of transcription by RNA polymerase II, the action of Mediator, and enhancer-promoter communication during gene activation.
