ONLINE COVER This week features a Research Article that describes a high-content screening method to identify compounds that promote or inhibit the formation of invadopodia. These foot-like cellular processes degrade the surrounding extracellular matrix and enable cancer cells to escape from the primary tumor site. The image shows rings or rosettes of invadopodia (red) surrounding the nucleus (blue) in a cell treated with the chemotherapeutic agent paclitaxel.
