ONLINE COVER This week features a Research Article that presents the structure of the light-induced dimer of VIVID, a blue-light sensor and transcriptional regulator found in the filamentous fungus Neurospora crassa. Light-induced conformational changes in one subunit of VIVID facilitate its binding to the other subunit in the dimer.
