Online Cover This week features research that uses bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) to study conformational changes in β-arrestin (Zimmerman et al.) and Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) to assess changes in the multiprotein complexes that form during T cell receptor signaling (Pauker et al.). The image is a composite of FRET signals, showing interactions among proteins in response to T cell activation. [Images: Maor H. Pauker, Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel.
