ONLINE COVER This week features a Research Article that describes how the activity of the lipid kinase PI3K governs whether the protein kinase PKCα promotes the formation of invadopodia in cancer cells (also listen to the accompanying Podcast). Invadopodia are cellular protrusions that can degrade the extracellular matrix and enhance the invasiveness of cancer cells.
