Online Cover This week features a Research Article that describes the generation of a stabilized form of a chaperone that delivers the lipid mediator S1P selectively to endothelial cells and could be used to treat cardiovascular diseases. The image shows left ventricular slices from mice subjected to myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and stained with Alcian blue and TTC, the latter of which indicates viable myocardium.
