About The Cover

Cover image expansion

Online Cover This week features a Research Resource that identifies changes in protein interactions in excitatory postsynaptic neurons that help stabilize neuronal activity in mice. These changes appear to be coordinated in part by the proteins Homer1 and Shank3, the loss of which is associated with autism spectrum and other neurological disorders. The image is a drawing of a synapse depicting a selection of the postsynaptic interactome. [Image: Heavner et al./Science Signaling]
