Abstract
STKE has several mechanisms by which instructors and students can utilize the site as a teaching tool and resource. With the instructors of the "Cell Signaling Systems" course for graduate students, STKE explores using the various elements of STKE as a digital teaching aid. The resources that will be part of the STKE online supplement to the course as taught at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY, include Teaching Resources starting with one that outlines the course structure and schedule and then one for each lecture. In addition, related resources at STKE will be highlighted in and linked to the Teaching Resources. The final component will be online discussion forums that allow students and instructors the world over to interact with the instructors of this course, which is offered in a traditional classroom format at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
