Abstract
This week’s issues of Science and Science’s STKE cover various aspects of gastrointestinal function and malfunction. Topics include the regulation of feeding behavior, host interactions with the organisms that colonize the gut, signaling pathways involved in gut barrier function and self-renewal, and factors associated with gastrointestinal inflammatory disorders and the pathogenesis of gastrointestinal cancers.
